Dear Friends,

            This week as we continue our journey through the scriptures we will join the people of Israel as Moses challenges Pharaoh and leads the people across the Red Sea and into the wilderness.  In Matthew, we will conclude the ministry of Jesus and travel with him and the disciples as they enter Jerusalem and begin the final week of Jesus' life.  Our reading of the Psalms will feature the well-known verses of Psalm 23 and remind us again that "The Lord is our Light and Salvation."  In Proverbs we will be warned of the dangers of straying from God's way and the wisdom of following God's word. 

            We are well on our way in this journey through God's Word and I pray that as we read the scriptures together that God will enlighten us and illumine us in the way of Jesus Christ.
