Dear Friends,
Our journey through the scriptures continues as we move into "the meat" of the prophecy of Jeremiah as he proclaims the Word of God to the Southern Kingdom of Judah. Jeremiah's words are of warning and judgment as he warns the people of God of their impending exile due to their rebellion and disobedience. In our New Testament reading we will conclude the Letter of Paul to the Colossians which includes one of my favorite passages of scripture (Colossians 3:12-17) and read the whole of I Thessalonians, which is a friendly letter of encouragement and exhortation to the Christians in Thessalonica. In Proverbs, we continue to glean from the wisdom of God.
May God continue to inspire us and move us as we read his Word together.
Grace & Peace,
Tom Lovell
